Demand intelligence

    Meet the demand brain.

Every shopping conversation on wiinta becomes structured demand. This is the system that turns those conversations into your range decisions.

    The ontology, live

One ask, parsed into the tree that ranks every rack on wiinta.

    The tree

    Categories that think

Shoppers never say 'women's footwear'. They say 'ballet flats for work, size 4'. The ontology maps every ask onto the category tree that ranks the racks, so nothing is lost between what they said and what you stock.

    The attributes

    The details that decide purchases

Colour, size, fit, concern, occasion, finish. The ontology extracts the attributes shoppers use to choose, and reports demand at that level: not 'dresses', but 'midi wrap dresses in green, under R800'.

    The vocabulary

    One language everywhere

Search, ranking and your reports all run on the same structure. When the ontology learns a new way shoppers describe a product, every surface gets smarter at once.

    This week's gap report

    96 asks, zero results
    • "oversized graphic tees, UK 6"

      38 asks

    • "ballet flats, size 4, under R600"

      27 asks

    • "waterproof running jacket"

      19 asks

    • "maternity work dress"

      12 asks

Every row is real shopper language, ranked by volume, matched to your vertical. Stock these and you own demand nobody else can see.

    Gap reports

The roadmap nobody had to write

Every ask wiinta cannot fill is recorded. The gap report lists the exact shopper questions in your vertical that found no answer, ranked by volume, in their own words. Starter merchants see the top five unanswered searches. Growth adds the full ranked report and attribute breakdowns.

    • Ranked zero-result queries, matched to your vertical
    • The attributes inside each ask, not just the words
    • Volume trends: which gaps are growing

    The learning loop

It compounds. That is the point.

Clicks, saves and purchases feed back into ranking and description. A static catalog stays flat. Yours gets measurably better at answering demand every week you stay connected.

    • Engagement signals train ranking for your range
    • Ontology validation keeps your data clean as you grow
    • Insight history shows the trend, not a snapshot

The dashed line is a static catalog. The solid line is yours: every click, save and purchase teaches wiinta which of your products answer which shoppers.

Where does the demand data come from?

From the shoppers themselves. Every search, clarifying question and browse session on wiinta is parsed into the ontology. Nothing is modelled or bought in: it is what South African shoppers actually asked for this week.

Do I see my competitors’ data?

No. Reports show demand near your catalog: what shoppers asked for, what they found, and what they did not. Aggregate gaps in your vertical are shown as gaps, not as another merchant’s numbers.

    How fresh is it?

The demand dashboard checks for new activity every five seconds while open. Reports can be downloaded for the selected period.

    How is demand organised?

Wiinta matches searches to your catalog and organises the signals by category, colour, size and budget. Coverage labels help you distinguish unanswered searches from incomplete search results.

    Stop guessing. Start hearing.
